Psalms 26-50

We have read another 25 Psalms.  I have continued giving a 4-word title to each psalm as follows:

You show me mercy,
You are my salvation,
You are my rock.

Your name is holy,
Your favor lasts forever.

You keep me safe,
You forgive my sins,
Your plans stand firm,
You remove my shame.

You fight for me,
You care for animals:),
You will help me.

You don't rebuke me,
You don't ignore me.
You lift me up,
You make me well.

You quench my thirst,
You declare me innocent.
You know my secrets.

You have anointed me.
You are with me.

You subdue my enemies.
You deserve my praise.
You redeem my life!
You are my God!

Be encouraged,

Becky

  2. My family is in need of prayer, please. My prodigal is disowning us. I have tried for years to keep our family together and have cried out to God many nights, but I am broken now. I loved this exercise tonight because it revealed again the great and wonderful God I worship and adore. My faith is in him, but my heart is breaking. Thank you.

  4. Lorraine, will be praying. My sister stopped speaking to me, my husband and my Mom 7 years ago. Took away all the grandchildren/nieces and nephews. Wounded my elderly Mom deeply.
We understand, and are living with the same kind of pain and prayers. He is our hope.

  5. Lorraine, you are in my prayers, too. What a beautiful summary/poem of the psalms you wrote! . . .

I just finished writing a few special prayer requests of my own but lost them when I hit "post." (Usually I do copy and save thoughts first, but tonight I didn't.)

    I'll try again tomorrow.

  6. Ps. 16-25
I will....Set the Lord before me
    Call oh You Oh God
    Call in My Distress
Be Pleasing in Your Sight Trust in the Name of the Lord
He Will.....Be Exalted in His Strength
    Listen to Cries for Help
    Lead Me Beside Still Waters
    Be Mighty in Battle
    Teach the Humble His Way.
