Saul seemed to live in a constant state of impulse and impatience. I hesitate to say this, but I now I find that to be a place I often visit.
What did Samuel say to Saul (I Sam 15:22-24) after repeated blunders?
"What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to His voice. Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat or rams. Rebellion is as sinful as witchcraft and stubbornness as bad a worshipping idols. So because you have rejected the command of the Lord, He has rejected you as king."
Our prayer?! Help us Lord to be obedient to your voice.
Be encouraged,
Becky
